If you have a web site, you may be able to earn money by referring visitors to Big Fish Games.

What? You've never heard of Big Fish Games? They're an online publisher of quirky, independent games.

This program can be a great alternative to unsightly ad banners - especially if visitors to your site are interested in games.

By the way, I'm not connected to Big Fish Games in any way, except as a member of the program described on this page. I'm hoping my participation will pay for Natto-Cat's server bandwidth...

How Does It Work?

It's easy. You make your own "My Game Space" page, like this one that I made. You may have noticed the subtle link to it on the Natto-Cat homepage. ;-) Creating the page is extremely simple thanks to the tools Big Fish Games provides. You choose the games displayed on your page and, if you want, add your own custom reviews. That way, you can have the games displayed match the tastes of the visitors to your site.

All the games at Big Fish Games are free to download and play for a trial period. In case you were wondering, these are quality games, without any spyware, malware, viruses, etc. Some are excellent, some so-so, and some forgettable, as you would expect from a large publisher. If one of your visitors ends up buying a game, you will get 25% of the purchase price. So if someone you refer buys a $20 game, you will get $5 in rewards.

Your Friends Can Help You Earn Money, Too.

Big Fish Games calls anyone who follows your link and then downloads a game "your friend." (Whether they're really, actually, truly your friend is another matter.)

As already explained, you will get 25% of the purchase price of any game "your friend" buys. But even better, if they make their own "My Game Space" page and start referring visitors to download games, you will get 25% of any rewards they make.

An Example.

For example, you make a "My Game Space" page and someone checking out your site, let's call him Mr. X, visits it. Mr. X downloads the game Gerbil Adventure Rollerskating Clinic. (Note: Gerbil Adventure Rollerskating Clinic probably doesn't exist, because I just made it up.) The demo turns out to be so fiendishly addictive that Mr. X just has to pay for the full version. He pays the purchase price of $20.

At this point you get $5. Hooray!

Mr. X continues playing and beats the boss on level 99. Hooray!

Then Mr. X decides to make a "My Game Space" page of his own. He links to it from his site. Ten visitors to his site follow the link and each buy a copy of Doubleclick on the Dinosaur: Gold Edition for $20. (Note: Doubleclick on the Dinosaur: Gold Edition probably doesn't exist, because I just made it up.) Mr. X makes $50 in cold, hard cash. But then you make $12.50 (25% of the amount of rewards he earned, i.e. 25% of $50).

Your total earnings thanks to one visitor:   $17.50

Thank you, amazing Mr. X!

In summary, not only do you get 25% of the purchase price of games sold through your referrals, but 25% of the rewards made by people you have referred. There's actually even more to the program, which you can read about by following the link below.

Oh yes! I almost forgot, you also get 2 free games just for signing up. If you like puzzles, I highly recommend trying out Magic Vines as one of your games! It's almost as good as Doubleclick on the Dinosaur: Gold Edition...
